Thanks to many on here in now informed that my husbands favorite duckling is a welsh harlequin. Shes just about 3 weeks old. ( 2 more days)
I know it's probably to early to tell but is there any way to tell aside from the type of quack to tell gender.

You are probably gonna have to wait another month for the feathers to be in to tell. You can try to vent sex, but if you're not experienced you could hurt the ducky.
    I know it's hard to wait:barnie

Yep you are going to have to wait. You will be able to voice sex them before they get their sex feathers.

x3. Also, not sure it's a Welsh Harlequin. If it turns out to be a girl, then it probably is. However, WH's don't normally have the distinct head marking. My guess is you have a Golden 300 Hybrid drake.
