Ignore price, asking $40
This lovely quad of metzer Welsh harlequins should start laying soon. They hatched 11/29/10. There are 3 girls, and 1 drake, would make a great little backyard layer flock. The drake has a gorgeous metallic green head with some irridescant blue sheen, their wingbars shimmer in the sun. Their antics are so much fun to watch.
WH is a non flying breed, and fantastic layers. They are excellent at slug and snail control and keeping down weeds. They don't need a lake or pond, they are happy with a kiddie pool or cement mixing tub. They will need a predator proof pen or duck house to sleep in at night.
I am near Sunol / Union city, pickup only
The Cayugas and Runners are not for sale.
They free range during the day but they like to nap in the chicken run that is left open during the day.
Other favorite nap place is under our butterfly bush. Aren't they pretty!
