I am so bummed, I just saw a prolapsed vent on one of my welshies. They are my favorite, and she is a particularly beautiful duck. She seems ok, but after poking around for info and calling Metzer, where she came from, I have decided to harvest her tomorrow morning. I have cleaned and eaten ducks killed and not taken by the bobcat, but I have never had to do the deed to a duck before. I am not looking forward to it. As much as I can chalk it up to "thats farming" I am still bummed.

So sorry to hear about her. Did you find that the Welsh Harlequins are prolific layers?

Very Prolific layers. Pretty much an egg a day.
