    Please tell me if this is a hen or roo. She is 5 months. Has started charging at me sometimes[​IMG]

    Deffinitly hen. Welsommer roosters are much more colorful with deep reds and oranges with black breasts and tails.

    Hen. Doesn't mean you have to put up with bad manners, though. Charge her right back. Read threads about making a rooster move away from you and put that into practice on her.

    X 2 - I don't tolerate bad behavior from them regardless of gender. The fact that she has started showing some more bold behaviors may be indicative of her nearing the point of lay as some pullets will go through a bit of a personality shift to the negative around that time.

    Its funny how she doesnt bully any of the other four girls. They all get along :)
