Wondering the gender on my 4 week old Welsummer. It was bought from a hatchery as a sexed female but the older it gets, the more I'm starting to worry. Thoughts? The very bottom pic with all the chicks shows my Welsummer in the very top lefthand corner, to give you an idea of the v placement on the head, eye markings it initially had, etc. Now, the markings have faded drastically, it's legs have gotten thicker more quickly than the other varied breeds, it's feathers coming in seem a bit darker and its comb is questionable. It is very quiet, docile and gentle though, not at all boisterous or demanding like most roo's. But it's quickly changing features are worrying me more each day. Thoughts?
