Yes you could fly the young ones. I would wait at least two months and train them hard and good before letting them out.
You will need to take them out in your yard in a basket and such.
The old ones are prisoners and pairs so just lock them all up and breed yourself 20+ young this year. You will have birds to fly before you know it.
Keep the youngest ones in for a month and get them trap trained and trained to a feed call. The oldest bird was probably banded with an old band when he ran out of the correct year bands. But pigeons can live that long. If it really is that old it's probably only good for fostering eggs.
