thanks anywayI've raised one Bluejay, and I'm currently raising a Common Grackle, on wet dog food.
I'm sure that helps none, but I wanted to put it out there.

Hi, i saw it on some thread on here but i can't remember where. What reasons were given for avoiding cat food?
They may apply to dog food too, or they may not.
Cat or dog food should be fine in small amounts, but it is not properly balanced to be a complete food for a chicken. It probably should not be a large part of a chicken's food intake each day.
Different people definitely have different opinions on things like that.Hi, i saw it on some thread on here but i can't remember where.
It wouldn't be the chickens base food- i just use it as a treat.
thanks
maybe thanksthe Taurin in it perhaps? That would be the only reason I could think of.
