I have an egg in my incubator that i candled today, day16, and it seems to be developing but i can see liquid when i turn it when candling. It's almost like it got water in it. It's only a little bit, just enough for me to see it. Any ideas ?

Do you mean you can see it in the air sac moving around or in the egg? By day 16 your egg should be pretty full of chick by now. Can you see the chick moving? If the water is in the air sac which should be well developed now I would say humidty has been too high during incubation. Have you been measuring humidty? Have your air sacs grown adequately?
Sorry for all the questions it just gives a bit of a clearer picture.

Actually i have kept the humidity down around 30% for this batch. The liquid seems to be in the air cell of the egg. It's not full but is developing. My air sacs all seem to be adequate size. Didn't see movement but i guess i can water candle to see if it's alive huh ?

I would not do a float test at this point. If it's alive, fine, You don't want to soak that egg if it's too wet inside to start with. You can candle with light to see if there is any movement. But remember, you don't ALWAYS see movement when you candle. Some times, they are just resting. I would prop this egg upright throughout hatch if you're sure the liquid is in the air cell. The chick could just be on the small side. How does the development of this chick compare with the rest of them?

Well i already did the float test and candled it again too. It was not growing, it had a nasty looking mass in it so i ousted it from my bator. Thanx for all the help.
