my homemade bator is full of guinea eggs that arent due to hatch untill the 25- 7 days away- i havent even set them on thier sides out of the turner yet and when I came home today they are pipping!!!!!!!!!! Do I take them out and lay them on thier sides to hatch? or should I let them hatch in the cartons?? oh boy..Im freaking out!!!!!!!!anybody chime in here with helpful info?????
ok- Im leaving them alone- and all is going well so far- 13 out
they are all managing to get out of the carton just fine and hang out on the towel spread out underneath- i did very quickly slide a sheet of foam board inside to block off the lightbulb/thermostat area from the babies tho- but this didnt require opening the bator
