Are you asking if you can hatch a chicken egg and a duck egg in the same incubator?

I have never done it but there are folks who hatch chicken and duck and turkey eggs together.

The chicken eggs take 21 days. The duck and turkey take 28 days.

Quail eggs take 23 days to hatch. They need 60% humidity the first 20 days. This level of high humidity is too much for chicken eggs.

I do not think it is a good idea to try and hatch them together.

I'm not an expert on a combination like that or if it works out well so........someone else will have to chime in...

I've successfully hatched chicken and button quail eggs together. I thought coturnix only take 17-19 days? That's what all the breeders have told me. The buttons take 18 days. But I kept the humidity at 45-50 for both in the same bator, they did well!

i've done quail with chicken also pheasants, turkeys ,and i've hatched chickens with ducks ,geese. did'nt have any probs. you might have the humidty problems.
