Silkie chick #1 hatched Boy did I feel bad when I got home and heard it...I hadn't stuck the chick ramp up to the house and it's been raining since last night. Poor little guy was screaming and soaked. I got it all fixed up so it could get back in and dried it off. It was a happy little chicky then

Oh my goodness I've never seen a silkie chick before- that is the cutest little thing!!! I hope he/she grows up to be healthy and strong.

Yeah, it was pitiful. Too bad chickens can't pick them up like dogs/cats and bring them in.
Just went out to lock all bantys up for the night and another silkie chick had started
