What a beautiful surprise!

    Went down to check on the new chicks I bought today at the chicken swap and happened to look into the nesting boxes and found this:

    main suspect:

    over the past few days her face has gotten very red while her sisters still have pink/yellow faces.

    wow pretty blue egg. They come out full size the 1st time? I thought they started with smaller eggs? WOW!!! Fantastic!

    It's a little smaller then a normal egg, but a little bigger then a normal pullet egg. :)

    It's actually lighter, like it looks in the second picture.


    I blew it out and plan on keeping it forever.

    Couldn't bring myself to crack it open.
