I have 4. 1 is about 2 weeks 6 days old. He is looking like my rooster when I first got him. He is looking like his dad right now basically. I want to introduce him to the flock for a couple of minutes but I dont want him getting cold (yes I will be holding him the whole time) I just want to make sure he is fully feathered. Anybody know when silky chicks are fully feathered?

7 weeks, depending on the quality of the silkies. Hatchery Stock Silkies seem to feather out faster then show stock, & can go out between 5-6 weeks old.

I believe my silkies are going on 4 weeks old (I've had them a full 3 weeks and they were approximately a few days old to a week when purchased).
They started getting really bored and pickin on each other inside so I've been introducing them to coop and outside during the day since we have such hot days 90s. They've been doing great...til we had a cold spell late yesterday.
I can't tell if their feathers are in or not. It all looks the same to me.
What do yall think?
Yes one is a Polish...i can tell its feathers are coming in nicely.
