I am new to raising chickens. Kids got these gorgeous little chickens from school. Would anyone help me identify how old they are? What breed and sex they might be of? Thanks!

Individual full body shot of each bird would help. Going of the 2 pics you have I would guess Sex-link mating pair.

This could be. The white and red bird looks like a sex link hen at first glance, but the pattern is wrong and the dark red on the wings says roo. So, could be someone bred two sex link birds, or maybe even a red roo over a sex link hen. Anyway, the red bird may be a production red but chances are they're both mixed. I have a feeling they're both roos.

Can't you find out age from the school?
