By their beak ?
you can sex them by their tail after 2 or 3 months...by their bill with some breeds...not all tho, i think...what breed are you talking about?
because welsh harlequin females have dark bills as adults and males have yellow bills...but both male and female pekins have yellow bills, just depends on the breed...
cayuga or Black swedish
but my duck got white chest
and abit of white tip on its wings
and it green
so i dont know that breed
how old are they? and do you have any pics of them?
If they quack they're female, if they make a raspy noise they're male.

flip 'em over and see, vent sexing is easy and fast once you get the hang of it. Just showed another BYC er today how easy it was while I was picking up some ducks from her.
Can be done as day olds, but much easier after they are a week or so old, everything gets bigger and easier to see.
at early ages, some times the voice isnt 100%, had that today, some we both swore were hens were vent sexed as boys.
Bill color will work on some breeds as mention, but on white and black birds there isnt much difference. Mallard patterned breeds work best for that.
Plus they have to be fully feathered and 1/2 grown to be accurate on that, same with the tail curl, they are fall age before you can check by that.
tail curl and color 3rd
are the in order ways to sex them correctly
