what age should I introduce cochin chicks?

Have 8 weeks old cochin chicks and was wondering when should I introduce them to my flock of 5 hens that are 6 months old. Seems I keep reading the cochins are extremely dosil so I dont wanna do introduce them to early.

I have 2 8 week old chicks with my 17 week old pullets. They've been together since the younger chicks were 4 weeks. At first I put lots of boxes with little doors in the so they could hide when the pullets got to mean. They get along without the boxes now. Oh, and I put two different food and water stations to make sure they got enough food.
