We were kind of figuring that's what he was, but we were really like this coloration

I think so too...but the coloration almost reminds me of an EE, but of course it has yellow ish legs.

That posture is what screams Leghorn to me. My white Leghorns stand exactly like that, with an identical tail posture. Plus the leg color is spot on. I say Wyandotte, because of the hackle and saddle feathers, the comb type, and because he looks rather hen feathered for a cockerel, and that's something that can happen with that breed.
