Got some assorted eggs from a friend with quite a few different breeds. Just wondering what I have.

    Welcome to BYC.
Does your friend keep each breed in separate breeding pens or are they running a mixed flock? Can you ask your friend for a list of breeds that they have - this would be immensely helpful in helping you to identify your chicks. Do you know what color egg each bird hatched from?

They are in a mixed flock, and when I asked him the breed he said "chickens" LOL. The female was from a small white egg and I'm not certain on the boy, I had white and brown eggs.

Honestly - with that information there is not much we can do to identify your chicks -- as they mature and feather out we may be able to start giving you some idea of the possible breeds they are from, but with barnyard mixes it isn't always possible to tell.
