1- Black Sexlink "black with gold neck", 2- Barred Rock "barred ones", 2- Easter Egger "penciled with lighter heads and dark legs", 1- Red Sexlink "solid red", & 1-Black Australorp "solid black" hens. Rooster looks to be a crossbred.

Thanks so much!! Now I've got to figure out the ones that are laying. I'm getting brown, green and cream colored eggs lol.

A friend told hubby the rooster might be a Japanese Bantam? I've never even heard of it, but googled pics look close. Could that be it?

No, that could not be. He is WAY to large for starters. Also he has the wrong comb, wrong leg color, wrong wing and tail type, & wrong body type to be a Japanese bantam. The only thing that is similar is his black tailed white color pattern, which is a very common Japanese bantam color. The more I look at him the more I think he is likely an Easter Egger as well.

@Gray Farms After doing more research, I realized he wasn't, lol. I was leaning more towards leghorn but now that you mention it, EE does look correct.

Not a Leghorn either. Leg color, earlobe color, and comb type don't match.
