What am I.....

A friend of mine is downgrading there farm which had over 300 head of fowl.
Last night she gave me this bird, but I dont know what it is....or if it is a duck or goose, so please help me out folks!!
I was walking to my truck and this and another flew at me so i dove and cought it, about 3-5 feet off the ground, man there fast!
