Can anyone tell what breed this is??
I thought maybe a Brown Leghorn?
In the last week, her breast feathers are changing to a
    nice reddish chestnut colour

They look like one of my hens. Which is a partridge wyandotte.

That last picture is a Speckled Sussex pullet. I know because I have two that are almost identical-see?

    Thanks speckledhen,
I am soo glad she is a pullet!
She follows me around during my morning chores in the
chicken pen. She is very friendly.
She does look just like yours.
    You have been very helpful.
    Thanks again, Carole

and Thanks for your input Alleyoops25,
I thought the first photo was a brown leghorn, so
I am hoping your are right and she is a
partridge wyandotte, I have four of these, one is a roo.
