What are "Arkansas Chickens?" They are being sold via CL.

    They are pretty! Looks like some kind of game bird to me.

    They look like Gamebirds that somebody in Arkansas is selling. There isn't a breed called Arkansas Chickens.
    I read it again. The seller must have gotten them from Arkansas,.... or plain simply doesn't know what they're talking about. [​IMG]

    Sounds like they bought them from someone in Arkansas. They appear to be a pit game type.

    I'd say Cubalaya crosses or hatchery based Games, such as Cubalayas.

    Arkansas Travelers are a strain of American Gamefowl. That's my guess as to what they are.

    Ha! I even live in Arkansas & they totally slipped my mind. [​IMG] I'm not much of a gamebird guy but I've seen their eggs on e-bay.
