I recently was given four chickens. The woman that gave them to me did not know what they were. I posted a picture on a Facebook group for chicken lovers, and was told they were Cream Legbar Mutts, but mine do not look anything like the pictures I googled of that breed. They look like pheasants. Help please.[IMG][/IMG]

Anne Outdoors I am happy you just posted on our forum after being a member for a while! I myself am not familiar with that breed, but your best option is to post that picture onto our What Breed Or Gender is This forum. There you will get a answer faster and more reliable than on this one. All the best in luck with your mystery chickens. Here is the link also https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this I hope you and your new flock are doing well and I wish you luck!

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

So glad you could join our community!

I have no idea what they are. LOL Definitely follow the link that Jucodeo has left for you to the What Breed and Gender section. Lots of good breed IDers over there. :)

Great to have you aboard and welcome to our flock!

    Out to pasture
The white with red over the wings is most likely a rooster but, don't know what breed. The photo only shows them at odd angles.

Go to the link that was given. They look like they could be EE mixes. My 2 cents. :) There is definitely a rooster in there. :)

    WV boy here!
I agree with the others in that you would get more helpful responses in that forum section.

I thought that this is now in that forum. Very confusing. When I click on the above link to the better forum it comes back around to this thread. I just want to identify these birds.
