What are the best websites to purchase fertile chicken eggs online?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering what sites are good for purchasing fertile eggs???

I'm from Puerto Rico and I'm thinking of ordering eggs online because its a bit tedious to find good breeders around the island or sometimes its hard to find a specific breed.

Would like some opinions on the matter and if its worth doing to begin with, cause I know eggs are very delicate and can easily get fractured or even too shaken up on the journey they take to get from one place to another.

I purchased fertile eggs from a hatchery and had 0 hatch. I purchased Lavender Orpingtons eggs from someone on BYC and had 80% hatch rate. I also had good luck with eBay. Do not plan on more than 50% hatch rate when eggs get shipped. My go to place to look for eggs is eBay and BYC. Good luck in your search

It is doable. I've shipped eggs to PR a couple times. However, one issue that has to be dealt with is that they may X-ray the package which can cause deformities. It may be better to ship day old chicks.
