Each hen will usually give you an egg a day. If the roosters are mating with your hens, chances are the eggs are fertile. You could try cracking an egg open and looking at the yolk. Each yolk will have a white spot or "blastodisk" on it. If the spot has a bullseye ring around it, it is fertile.
When chickens mate, there is no penetration. They simply touch vents.Ok the roosters are trying but i can't really tell what's going on I'm used to breeding Pitbulls not chickens,do they get stuck like dogs do?
