What are these...besides eggs

    I was out looking for my guinea's nest. I found a nest on top of a mound in tall grass. I think they are pheasant but husband thinks guinea because of the shape. I have a white and two pear guinea hens and two purple roosters.

    The egg in the top of the first pic (grouping of 5) is quite larger than the rest

    Since we brought them in, I will but them in the bator w/my next batch of guinea eggs. These are the new guinea eggs i found [​IMG]

    they are pheasant eggs [​IMG] good luck hope they hatch

    They look like pheasant eggs to me too.

    You find a wild pheasant nest....PUT THEM IN THE BATOR!

    What did the nest look like ? i have never seen a pheasant nest before . I would deff put them in the bator .

    Yep. ANnther vote for ringneck pheasant. They will hatch in 23 days.

    Have you hear the rooster crow? It's a two note call COOK COOK badew badew badew badew (badew noise made with wings.)

    were they warm when you found them? ringnecks are prety loyal to their nests and i'm just wondering if maybe she abandoned this nes. so people don't get suspicious they are "rocks" [​IMG]
