I was sold these chicks as Dominique pullets. Do they look like Dominiques? I'm not sure...
Do the two rear chicks have the whitish or yellowish spot on top of their heads (I can't tell from the angle in the pic)? If so, they are all Dominique chicks.
None of the chicks have a yellow spot. The front chick had yellow on the sides, but black on top.
They are probably Dominique.
The one closest to the front of the photo has a lot of yellow for a Dominique. Could you post a photo of their combs? Dominiques should have flat rose combs.
A view of the comb
If they don't have yellowish or whitish spots on top of their heads, they are not Dominique chicks. They may be Black Australorp chicks, although there are several breeds whose chicks resemble those. I would suggest posting again in about 5-6 weeks. By then the breed should be obvious.
Another chick. Looks like a single comb.
They look more like Black Australorps to me.
Looking at australorps chicks, they look very similar. Mix up at the feed store I guess. Oh well.
