Hatched these 8 chicks from my neighbors chickens, I told them not to tell me what eggs belong to what chickens or anything so it was a mystery. They're about 6 weeks old

The grey one I was almost positive was a rooster from day 1 and everyday he looks more like a roo. What is he though? It was hatched from a blue egg
Two are obviously white crested black polish, but bantam or LF? and what gender are they?
The two pure black ones also came from blue eggs, idk what they are at all. Could be boys or girls and who knows what breed
The two reds I'm thinking production red or NH reds. Any ideas on gender though?
And the chocolate laced black chick I'm assuming is a barnyard special haha I've never seen a bird that looks like it before. I think shes a pullet, but not sure since I don't know what she is or what she is a mix of

Yeah I thought production reds too, I don't really know the difference between production reds NH reds and RI reds though. I know RIR are a lot darker than the other two breeds but thats it. I know they're not sex links, none of my neighbors have those or pens with the combination of roo/hen to make sex links.

Almost looks like you took a picture of my chicks
lol.png
I have 2 polish but not sure on the gender yet either only both of mine have puffy poofs like your one. Youre3 rd ones look just like my red sex links or so they were supposed to be from the feed store. I was thinking australorps on the back ones but is that feathered legs on one of them? and the others face doesnt look quite right for a BA the blue maybe EE??? Im not seeing any boys but cant tell too good. The Polish like I said dont know as I am trying to figure out mine.

the grey one is definitely a roo. hes got a redish comb and waddles that are way bigger than any of the others. The grey and three blacks all have feathered feet. the two all blacks and the one grey all came from blue eggs

Like I said they are definitely not sex links since my neighbors don't have those kinds of birds. They have RIR, which these are too light for and my other neighbor has NH and Production Reds

They also have EE polish(large and bantam) cochin brahma and leghorn

Obviously the ones out of blue eggs are from EE hens, but idk what rooster they threw in there to get fertile eggs..

You are right on the Polish. I believe you have one roo and one pullet. The Blue (grey) appears to be a Cochin but I cannot see HIS comb but with red wattles at this age and that big he is a roo. The black also appear to have single combs and feathered legs so they may be black/blue Cochins as well. Cannot help you with the rest.

which polish do you think is a roo? the one with the large head tuft or the one with the smaller tuft?

A cochin. hmm.. does that mean the others with feathered legs are cochins?

Does anyone know if the polish are male or female? The one with the larger crest I think is a female but idk..
