what are these sweet things

    I was wondering if someone could help me identify these two birds I was told one was a light brahma (pullet) and the other was a cochin(pullet). Hope someone can help. [​IMG][​IMG]

    Yep, that's right. Unless the second one is a very badly colored Lt Brahma. Is the comb a single or a pea comb like your Lt. Brahma? If single, yes, its a Cochin. If pea, a really wildly colored Brahma, almost like a cross between a Lt and Dark Brahma could be.

    speckledhen nailed it. That is a Lt Brahma and the second one looks like a cochin from the pic. Do you have better pics of the cochin's comb?
     
  4. I agree with speckeldhen, are they about the came size? Brahmas have pea-combs, cochins have single combs. They are very pretty. [​IMG]

    I also agree with speckledhen Light brahma and i think silver laced cochin
