    This listing is on eggbid.

"Up for auction is a trio of BB Red Japanese Bantams.I had four pens with BB Red Japanese males/females x SDW Japanese females in the matings. The male has short yellow legs as well as one of the females. The other female has short green legs. The male holds his tail to low but the females hold theirs higher. This is the only trio I have for sale.I do have 10 extra pullets for sale some with short yellow legs and some with short green legs. These could be crossed with wheaten males.Pick ups are welcome.Shipping and new box will be $50"

Way too expensive for me, but I am still curious what terms BB Red and SDW are abbreviations for.

They are not supposed to have green legs period. There must be an outcross there with some other breed.

Yeah tiki, I was wondering the same thing [IMG]

They do have nice, short legs. I just got some black tailed buff and thought they had short legs til I saw those. I think mine are med. legged.

Hey Msbear, yeah I love that breed. I love the short legs too. I had black tailed white and they were so sweet. I hopefully will get some next year again. It is so hard to find good ones. If you have one short legged one and breed to long legs you are good to go. You will get short legged and long legged babies.
