I thought about this game/learning thing. All the time, whether it's me or someone else...
They or me post questions like: "What two breeds make this breed?"
Well, I don't know everything, all I know about making a non-hybrid breed is; A New Hampshire and a Barred Rock make a Delaware. Ha ha! (Tell me if I'm right!)

So if you can help me, I'll try to help you! First, I would like to know...
What two breeds make a Speckled Sussex? I wonder/think a lot!

I don't know but.....I know that a white sussex and a RIR makes a red hybrid (correct??) lol! Sorry its not connected, lol thats all I know!

Delawares are a purebred that are recognized by the APA. They are not a mutt.

Their original bloodlines were sports from the NH/BR cross, but you cannot cross those two breeds and have a Delaware.
