I'm looking into Diatomaceous Earth... What brands of it are best to use for ducks. I see you can buy it from pool places, but I've heard that's toxic. They make food grade ones, but y local feed store doesn't carry it. Do they have it at TSC? What brands are safe to use with ducks? Any other suggestions on where to buy it?

Quote:Yes it is VERY expensive to ship. As a true chick newbie I ordered from Wolf Creek. They have very high quality. But at a price. Its great stuff. I white wash the roosts and poop trays with it. Since I never didn't use it its hard for me to say how well it works. But my primary reason was to prevent lice and mites.

After I had ordered and shipped it I found out my feed store can order it for me. So I will do that next time. Not as high a quality but should be fine. It is food grade.
