What breed and gender is this?

I had an impromptu buy at our local markets about 8 weeks ago and came home with a new friend for my girls. Just wondering what breed it is and if it is hen or roo? We have since gotten it a friendly black leghorn.

It's a cockerel - light legs have me confused as to breed - perhaps a cross?

I think a leghorn roo. Looks like he has hackle, saddle feathers and sickle tail.

Body conformation is somewhat leghorn, but white legs and red ear lobes eliminate that possibility. Leg color also eliminates white rock.
