Could anyone help me on what breed of chicken this is? And also what gender? It was hatched with several others 9 months ago, yet it is much smaller.

They were hatched the same time. The chicken in question is the smaller one.

Either it is a small barred rock. Or it is a barred rock mixed.

It is not a small Barred Rock.

It is a mixed bird that still has some barring, hence the barring look, but also something else that was non barred, possibly mottled? with also some game type mixed in.

It appears to be an oops....or a mutt of a mutt mix.

    You're welcome. She's definitely a mixed breed.

Yes...very much a game bird head...and almost a pea comb? (Can't see it well enough to say).

Well being a mixed breed is okay with me. :) As long as its a SHE. I'm pretty sure that is a pea comb. But I'm definitely no expert. Lol!
