I purchased this chick along with some Silkie chicks. This chick is approximately 10 days old.

Does anyone know what is this chick’s breed and, if possible, gender?

    Thank you all!!!! :jumpy

Looks like a bantam white cochin. Gender will have to wait another few weeks.

Doesn't look like it has muffs.

I have looked at pictures of both chicks... She was a day old when I got her. She has been the same solid silver color since day one. Unfortunately, I do not see any prominent muffs on her, but I did not see any prominent muffs on my Ameraucana chicks when they were days old either.

Either way, both breeds are beautiful. At least now I can learn more about both so I can provide this chick with the best possible care. Thank you!

The muffs will grow in. Post updated pics in week or so.
