What breed and sex are these?

Hi there,
My chicks are now 8 weeks old and I wondered if anyone could help to confirm their breed.
The black one we think is a french black copper marans. We have thought it is a rooster but we are not entirely sure so any confirmation or other thoughts would be great. We can't keep a rooster where we live but want to be absolutely sure before we get rid of him(?).

The ginger one is a hybrid and we think it is a pullet but any help towards possible breed/s would be gratefully received.

I think the black one is cockerel and the ginger one pullet.
Astrolorop for black one?

For 8 weeks old, the black one has a pretty big comb. Can you post a picture of his/her tail? Then we could see if sickle feathers are developing. The other one looks like a pullet, though. This is a thread showing 9 wk old black copper maran pullets. See the size difference of their combs compared to yours? Not sure about the colored ones, but the black ones may be australorps.

Yeah. I'm thinking the marans guess is probably right. Although he looks a little old for 8 weeks
