They are 5-6 weeks my guess. Came from private owner of many chickens and types. 2 of the 3 looked like chipmunks when little. Owner had banties and regular.

I have no clue as to breed, but the one on the left in the first picture and the one in the second picture (same bird??) are cockerels. And in the 3rd picture, the one whose head is all we can see is a cockerel. All the rest appear to be pullets so far.

The one on the left in 1st pic is the same one as the second. The orange & black one in #3 I was told was a roo but no clue on the little one in #3

I'm guessing the birds in the 1st two pictures as well as the last picture are silver Phoenix. The one with the white head is a cockerel. Is the one in the last pic the same as the one on the right in the first pic?

The 3rd pic looks like it might be a Jersey Giant or Australorp. It could be a Sumatra or a cross. What kind of comb does it have?

Quote:All of my Easter Eggers looked like little chipmunks when they were babies! If they have green or slate colored legs now, my guess would be they are EEs. [IMG]

The little black one has a rose comb that is turning a light red and yellow on the bottom of its feet.
