What breed and sex?

    Hello,
    I looked through the breed thread and am still not sure what breed or sex this chicken is. It is a rescue chick, it will be 9 weeks old this week. It is very small in comparison to our orpingtons. Can anyone help idrntify its breed and sex? Thank you!

    My guess would be a brahma cross with ???

    Thank you for your reply! Brama was one of the breeds i thought it looked like.

    Mixed breed cockerel would be my guess. (I'm not sure what sort of breeds though)

    I agree, mixed breed cockerel. He looks like he is part light Brahma.

    I don't think he's mixed, I think he's a light Brahma cockerel. he may be a bantam, there's not much for scale in the pics but it's a possibility.
