What Breed and Sex???

So I have one buff orpington that is 13 weeks old and I am not sure on the sex. The other pic of the black chicken was supposed to be a cream legbar, (seller swore there was no way the breeding stock was intermixed). As soon as chick hatched, I knew it was NOT a cream legbar. Any ideas on what breed this one is? So my two questions: what gender is the buff, and what breed is the black chicken? Thanks so much.

They are both pullets. Not sure what the black one is.

The body does look like some sort of leg bar.

I to have bought lied about breeds.

Yours appear to be pullets. On the second one, I'm guessing mixed breed. Did it hatch out of a blue egg?

The egg did look like a cream legbar egg. It was blue. Definitely not a cream legbar chicken though!

The black bird is a pullet, and you'd probably have to e-mail the seller a pic and see what mix she is.
