Hello all! I got these pullets from TSC and I am wondering how old they are and what breed they are. Any help would be much appreciated. These are our first pullets ever and we are so excited. The kids really love holding them as do I. Thank you all in advance.[IMG]

If they were egg layer pullets, the reddish ones are probably some sort of red sex link (they go by various names, Red Star, Golden Comet, Golden Buff etc depending on the hatchery), they look maybe a week old, the white one could be White Leghorns, they look a little older, maybe two weeks old.

And, Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC!

Thank you! I'm glad to be here. They were egg layer pullets. Now to go look up that breed. If I remember correctly they are friendly breeds and great egg layers. Any input would be appreciated.

Yes, both Leghorns and Red Sexlinks are about the best egg producers there are for white/brown eggs!

Looks like you have some White Leghorns (possibly White Rocks) and Red Sex-links. I'm guessing they're 1-2 weeks old.
