Thease chicks i bought are around 6 weeks old. The lady i got them from told me they were mixed heavies. I have no clue what those are. two of the other ones i got with them i know are barred rocks though. They are all very sweet little things.



This is one named prissy that i think may be a roo....



This one is of prissy's back



This is dove she is named dove because my mom thinks she looks like a dove.



One of doves back.



And this ones name is angel she is all white except for the black feathers at the end of her/his wings. Also s/he has pinkish legs.

Hmmmmm, what about the coloring on Prissy's back and wings, her feathers are brown i havent seen that on a delaware.

Depends on the source, sometimes hatcheries don't produce the best quailty. He could be a red sex-link, but the barring pattern is throwing me off.

I think Prissy probablly is mixed. The woman i got them from just had all her birds together. Any guess what Prissy is a mix of?

Thinking of a new name for Prissy, any suggestions?

Looks like my RSL mixed with Georgia Ground, which makes mine a production hen. Mine has the same coloring as a RSL cockeral but she is a pullet. So it just shows, not all chicks that color are RSL cockerals. I just call mine a Georgia Star. LOL

The first one does look like a mix, possibly a RSL. The second bird looks like a columbian pattern. And how big is the last bird? Is she the same size as the other two?
