What breed are these birds?
They are a specie between duck and goose.
I believe they are the rare red cotton ball beak headed major ducks!

My son call them duse.
I would start with the chinese swan goose and extrapolate from there. That looks to be 1/2 of the equation although the color is wrong.
They are smaller than ducks, about half the size, real quiet.
I have the name before and I forgot it, I remember that I googled the name and it was a specie of bird that is between duck and goose. It is called something duck but they are not ducks.

Are they common in the US?
I don't think they are common here- sounds like they are from Europe and Asia. Here is another link with more info.
They are ADORABLE! I'm not much for waterfowl, but I REALLY like those!
Thanks. Actually I have never seen them before here so that was why I was wondering what they are. Anyone seen this breed in the US?
