What breed are these chickens?

Hi! A friend recently informed me that she has 2 chickens that she no longer wants to keep. I’d like to add them to my flock, but would like to know what breed they are first. She doesn’t know what breed they are, but here are some pictures. Does anyone have any ideas? (I think the one is a buff Orpington?)
