    Hi everyone!

I was wondering what breed of chickens these were? My parents got them off of craigslist and didn't want to throw them in the pot so I am raising them on their behalf. I've been wondering for quite some time now what breed they were.

I was thinking he is a barred rock.

She's trying to take a dust bath in her usual spot...but the snow just started melting

    Is he an ameraucana?

I agree on the first and I'm thinking a production RIR on the second, not sure on the others. Maybe mixes.

Thank you everyone. The easter egger is a very good looking chicken. I hope I can get some good looking chickens from him.

do you know what color eggs this hen lays? She's got some funky modified comb similar to what I've had mixing EE and Leghorns, it justs makes me wonder if she has a blue egg gene. The dark rooster doesn't look to have a pea comb, but I can't be sure from the pic. If he does, breeding those two could possibly give you colored egg laying offspring.

Wyandotte7 is right one with the breeds. That production red should lay light brown eggs.
