Acquiring 4 soon. Have pomeranian and Sebastopol. What breed do you think these are? They are around 1 month old and from Atwood farm supply store originally.[IMG][/IMG]

I'm not a goose person, so I could be wrong, but I think it is hard even for more experienced goose identifiers/raisers to determine the breed of goose at such a young age, with no feathers grown in or obvious physical features developed. With that said, the goslings in the photos are white, and a commonly sold white goose breed is the Embden. Therefore, I would guess that they are Embdens.

Most likely White Chinese. Embdens hatch out gray with yellow bellies and necks. As do Romans as well. White Chinese are one of the few breeds that hatch out solid yellow.

Okay. I saw you can tell on embden when they hatch out on what's male or female because female have more grey... I didn't see if they continue with the grayish tones until they start losing down. These are 1 month... would rather them be embden lol

I was thinking white Chinese due to the long thin bodies and necks.
