These were bought at Tractor Supply an hour from my house and given to me by my daughter. She couldn’t tell me, and the only thing marked on the box was “4 Pullets”. I tried to guess from the breeds listed at my local TSC, but have no clue. Any ideas?

Thank you. I’ve been trying to keep them cleaned off. They sit in their food dishes (had to use cat bowls I have on hand as I wasn’t expecting chicks), and food sticks to their behinds if they mess in the food.
I’m cleaning their water dish 4-5 times a day and their food dish just as often. They get cedar chips into their water, and they climb into their food dish. We’ve got feeders for the adult hens outside. I just haven’t had a chance to get a feeder for these chicks.

Do you need any advice on how to clear the pasty butt?

Good luck with your babies! Cedar should not be used for chickens. It can cause respiratory issues. Switch to pine flakes instead.😊
