what breed are these two

    we were told these chickens were both rir and we dont think that either rir is really an rir well here they are

    there names are star and bubbles and there about 2 and a half months old

    Those are NOT Rhode Island Reds, they dont have muffs or beards. They look like Easter Eggers.

    ETA: Rhode Island Reds do not have beards or muffs.

    thats exactly what we were thinking easter eggers! we knew the darker one wasnt an rir because it has a pea comb

    by the way these two do have muffs and beards you just cant tell because theyre very small by the way heres another rir that is really an rir shes full grown and the feed store was right about her

    the darker isnt a roo once they were old enough we brought them in to be sexed and neither is a roo
    oh and heres a slightly better photo i haven gotten to photo doctor them yet

    Could they be red orloffs? Are you sure its a pea comb and not a walnut comb? Normally EE crosses have willow legs, thats why I ask.
