I was given these chickens the other day by my neighbour. He told me they are plymouth rocks, though their markings are quite different. They are quite small which leads me to believe they are bantams, (they are slightly smaller than my 3 month old pullets). The two 'speckled' looking birds have a prominent comb and spurs -- one of them has two spurs while the other only one. I know that some breeds the hen can develop spurs. The 'red' one does look like a Rhode Island Red, though I can't be sure of that either. I'd love to hear what you all think.
