    Need whole body pictures to determine the breed, including the feet and legs. Leg color, leg feathering ''or lack there of'' and number of toes are vital information in determining breed.

    Left looks like a black copper Marans, right looks like a brichen Marans.

    1st- could be Full breed Black Cooper Maran or a Black sexlink... I agree with others, might need full body image to distinguish..
    2nd- appears like a Wynadott hen? That feather pattern seems just distinguished to that breed but might be wrong!

    First one is beautiful is a "Black Star". :thumbsup

    Second one, possibly an "Iowa Blue". :confused:

    Both are beautiful birds!
