What breed did I get?

I got some chicks from the feed store, they were all white leg horns and barred rocks in the tank but I saw this little one and pick it because it looked so different. I’m thinking maybe a BCM but I’m not sure because he’s tiny. He also has feathered legs. Thanks in advance for any help!

Silkies are crested and have 5 toes. I don't think that's it.

Cochin perhaps. Described as tiny, is it bantam? Do you know which hatchery your feed store uses? Looking at their website can be a good way to narrow down possibilities.

Not FBCM, IMO for multiple reasons.

There are other colors of Marans popping up including just black and the midnight majesty type.

One of the best mysteries to have!

I believe they are from Frey’s hatchery and they do have midnight majesty’s but it’s says only ready to lay ones, that’s what I thought it was maybe before reading that.
But perhaps it got mixed in my mistake.

This shipment was supposed to be only standard layers but if it got mixed in it could definitely be a Cochin. As it grows I will post an updated photo!

Not a Cochin-legs are too lightly feathered and their chick down is different. Assuming the undersides of its feet turn out to be pink/white then a Midnight Majesty Marans is very likely. If yellow then an Olive Egger
